 ock Band” in 2006\, \nMarashino officially formed in 2002\, they have be
 en playing together on and off since middle school. Their sound is fresh\,
  straightforward and uncomplicated. With lyrics reflecting classic yearnin
 gs for understanding about lost love\, the meaning of life and the ways of
  the political\, religious and moral worlds\, Marashino makes a quick but 
 genuine connection with its audience. Simple drum and bass lines blend sea
 mlessly with guitar melodies\, highlight Eric LaBrosse’s vocal stylings 
 and make their songs easy listening\nThe band has played Milwaukee’s Sum
 merfest (which claims to be the world’s largest music festival) three ye
 ars running\, has won the Milwaukee leg of the Emergenza music fest in 200
 5 and opened for Collective Soul and Seether. Marashino sound like a blend
  of Silverchair and Soul Asylum\, only less angst-ridden and with a little
  more life. \nMarashino is one of those bands that started out of high sch
 ool\, evolving into a seasoned act by the time members reached their early
  20\'s.  Four years ago\, the Menomonee Falls quintet started doing hard r
 ock and pop covers\, but the band has become better known recently for the
  original music.  Their releases include Marashino (2003) and Diseased Roo
 m (2004).  Their youth and experience\, including sharing the stage with m
 ajor acts such as Seether\, will no doubt work to their advantage in the f

 994\, the band has received two wins and 10 Wisconsin Area Music Industry
