Bands
These are just a few of the great bands that have performed at BuBs Irish Pub.
Chasin' Mason

Rooted in country and laced with rock 'n roll, Chasin' Mason is a Wisconsin based group and one of the hottest up and coming bands in country music.
A melting pot of musical influences, Chasin' Mason mixes Merle and Mellencamp with U2 and Keith Urban to create their Rockin’ edge with a story to tell. The guys borrow their style, and passion from their diverse pasts. Pulling from musical families, hard childhoods, wrong crowds, and right girls, Chasin’ Mason plays Real Life Real Loud!!!

Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie is a tribute to 80s "big hair" rock. The show features monster hits by Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Firehouse, Van Halen, Skid Row and many others - all done with flashy clothes & staging and (of course) plenty of hairspray.

Award-winning Tribute to Big Hair 80s Rock based in southern Wisconsin. Over the last 7 years, the Cherry Pie show has grown into a monumental entertainment package, thrilling huge crowds with music, showmanship, lights and all sorts of fun antics.

Marashino

Voted “Milwaukee’s Best Rock Band” in 2006,

Marashino officially formed in 2002, they have been playing together on and off since middle school. Their sound is fresh, straightforward and uncomplicated. With lyrics reflecting classic yearnings for understanding about lost love, the meaning of life and the ways of the political, religious and moral worlds, Marashino makes a quick but genuine connection with its audience. Simple drum and bass lines blend seamlessly with guitar melodies, highlight Eric LaBrosse’s vocal stylings and make their songs easy listening

The band has played Milwaukee’s Summerfest (which claims to be the world’s largest music festival) three years running, has won the Milwaukee leg of the Emergenza music fest in 2005 and opened for Collective Soul and Seether. Marashino sound like a blend of Silverchair and Soul Asylum, only less angst-ridden and with a little more life.

Marashino is one of those bands that started out of high school, evolving into a seasoned act by the time members reached their early 20\'s.  Four years ago, the Menomonee Falls quintet started doing hard rock and pop covers, but the band has become better known recently for the original music.  Their releases include Marashino (2003) and Diseased Room (2004).  Their youth and experience, including sharing the stage with major acts such as Seether, will no doubt work to their advantage in the future.-Shepherd Express 2006

Oil Can Harry

A cover/tribute band, classic rock, alternative, pop rock. “Oil Can Harry” was formed in 1997. The band started as an excuse to get friends together, share cocktails and play good music. The music was much different in the beginning than it is to date. We played music for ourselves, not necessarily for a crowd. But soon we evolved into a booked solid “People’s Band”

Old Mil

Old Mil ... a band that was assembled by four college buddies to play frat parties, drink beer, and meet girls is now one of Milwaukee\'s most viable and beloved cover bands. Who\'d a thunk it?!
2007 WISN.COM A-LIST BEST LOCAL BAND
2007/2006 SHEPHERD EXPRESS BEST OF MILWAUKEE - COVER BAND NOMINEE
2006 WAMI COVER GROUP OF THE YEAR

Old Mil has a stellar resume of 300+ performances at the best clubs & top festivals in the state (including repeat performances at Summerfest and State Fair), and Old Mil recently performed for 15,000 people at a major convention. There are no signs of this powerhouse quartet letting up. In 2006, Old Mil received an award for \"Cover Group of the Year\" from the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI)! So, next time you\'re thirsty for some good times and great music, come see Old Mil ... it doesn\'t get any better than this!

Road Trip
Road Trip is a six piece band from Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Screaming Cucumbers

Formed in 2004, the Screamin\' Cucumbers (Cukes) are a new and diverse Milwaukee area cover band. The set list consists primarily of great danceable rock tunes, with a bit of an emphasis on the 80\'s. If it\'s upbeat, danceable, and fun it\'s probably on the set list. The five members of the Screamin\' Cucumbers have over 60 years of combined band experience. These guys know what it takes to win over a crowd early and keep them happy all night long.

Boogie Men & Catagory X

The Boogie Men’s follow-up effort to 1999’s “Super Party” is aptly titled “A Thing of Bootie.” The B-Men, as their loyal fans call them, have been a wildly popular Milwaukee based, afro-headed homage to the Disco era for the past several years. Now dabbling in hip-hop, R & B, rock and even techno while never losing touch with their funk flavored roots. From the record’s opening Dr. Dre groove of “Boogie Nation” to the radio-ready ballad “Come Away,” this disk has something for everyone.

Category X:

We're a collection of high profile players from top local bands that share a common goal: Play great music, do it as close as possible & have fun doing it. This isn't an ordinary band. Category X performs, live, what some other bands only wish they could do. The quality of musicianship in this band enables it to perform dazzling 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies as well as the instrumentation to play music by Kansas, Styx, Queen, Whitesnake, Ozzy, Jethro Tull, Poison, Pink Floyd, Queensryche, Def Lepperd, Aerosmith, Night Ranger and the list just goes on. You will NOT hear songs that are played by 98% of all the other local bands around. We promise you that. NO Mustang Sally. NO Funky Music White Boy. NO Jenny-Jenny. NO Freebird. There is a reason this has been on the fast-track since day one. Come see for yourself.

The Love Monkeys

High energy, Pop Rock Band. Covers. Originals. Influenced by many. Contained by

none.

Damn, we\'ve been around a long time. Too long for some. Not long enough for others. To be honest, we\'re just happy to play music and damn fortunate enough to be doing so. In 14+ years, we\'ve made a slew of friends, a few enemies, hooked up a ton of good folk and probably even broke up a few nice couples. Hey, it happens. Not really our fault - hopefully. It goes like this. 14+ years, close to 1200 performances in the Tri-State Milwaukee, Illinois, Iowa US, 2 CDs of original material, a S..@t-load of cover material, and a goatload of fun for us. That\'s right - a goatload. Can only imagine how that word has ever previously been used. Musical styles are all over the place cuz\' there\'s just too much damn good music to limit yourself. If any of us was king at any given moment, who knows what this would turn into. Instead, we\'re all over place. Reggae one moment, retro the next, some recent hit to follow and Bejeebers only can predict what comes a-knockin\' next.

The Toys

The Toys play your favorite rock hits! From the 70\'s to today, the Toys rock out with classics from the Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Journey, Alabama, Good Charlotte, Ozzy... you name it!
